i have done bugger all this weekend,just a couple of colourful pieces.

the first one is for Mel and her beautiful Angel Shelby.i havent quite finished yet .

so its just a peek ok....

and one for mumma mone ,who will recieve her cj from the SM forum 2007 cj swap.

here cj theme is my simple pleasures

and well again its overkill for me ,but in my defence ,im the last person in this cj and there are heaps of pages left so i wanted to finish it off with a bang.

another quick post ,cause wow ive been creating again..

(with my new work roster ,its taken me a few weeks

to get my sleep patterns set up~i just cant be up scrappin

all night ,and get up early to 25 kids..eek)

so i threw this one together last night...more randon scrappin.

this lil man i bought home from sweden(where i lived in the early 90's)

during st lucia day in sweden the children dress up...

the boys as star boys and the girls as st lucia herself with a

crown of candles on their heads...

ohhhh the kids look so devine and its a really beautiful tradition....

one i hope never to forget..,

now ive scrapped about it,neither will the kids ..

oh i just love this pointed finger stamp....

reminds me of laughter and lots of fun with my brother ,

watching monty python anything and everything..,

its an image that terry gillian/m(sp?) loved to use during the flying circus series ..

now i use it on almost everything...

cause i love it !wish i had it as a large foam stamp.does one exist ???
does anyone know?

miss boo boo peeps is one week into recovery from the "op" that had to happen but i kept putting off...,until last week ,when she came on heat,and well she taught us all a thing or 2 ....
one day later..boo boo will never be a mummy.

firstly ,the voldemort layout....

i dont know how many of you have seen the YOUTUBE

harry potter puppets,but the kids and i have spent many minutes,nay dare i say a few hours hearing all the different versions and clip...damn there is some funny stuff.

so in tribute ti that ,and my love of anything HP.i had a few Volde......(yes he who must not be named )shots left over from my harry potter atc swap on sis.

so i created this fun layout..

one snippet of interest i did find out is that its

actually pronounced with a silent 't',

and thats from the author herself.

this week at work ,a student who has been with us for a few weeks (hi miss Karen)bought in her familys sideline business and we had a tattoo and face painting day ..it was fun and the kids really enjoyed the experience

hello friends...

wow its been a super busy weekend ..

lots to do .people to see..

yesterday the kids,georgie and i went over the entrance and after a spot of scrap shopping

and drummed for a while with Frank from brackets and jam.

then a dash past spotty and home for an afternoon of scrappin..

harry potter ATC'S for a swap on sis and

i made a journal for miss debbies daughter Ciylse ,who had a baby shower today .

so heres the fun story for the day.....

for as long as i have walked the earth ,i have had curly hair....

in fact up until i was 20 i had granma hair(as paul calls it )

finally it was fine in my 20's when i grew it...

but ive never ever been able to do anything with it

except throw it up on my head ,al la marg simpson

an all i really have ever wanted is STRAIGHT HAIR ...

today ,after the baby shower miss debbies youngest

daughter took to my hair with a straightener....

now my poor head has never ever been brushed (on wide tooth combed in th shower)

and my poor hair and scalp took a little punishment.....

both the kids cant believe it ..today the saw a different mummy

whats happening out there folks...

for me its nothing but the routine of work and family stuff...

a little unmotivated during the week to pump out any scrap work...

but i challenged myself this arvo to throw together a 30 min layout

in between kids and organizing dinner...

i dont really think its that great ,but well somethings better than nothing i suppose!

got this new lace border from papercraftsonline ,its a paper product ,comes in 4 different sizes and styles 2 meters of each and its only 9.00

awww we just lurve our boo boo..

this afternoon she was out sunning herself in the winter warmth

asti and paul were having cuddles also..a sweet moment to catch in a pic last nights dinner was pauls yummy vegie pie

which i whipped up for my man as a belated home birthday dinner...heres the recipe.

line a pie tray or casserole dish with pastry.....layer sliced vegetables along the base..start with root vegies firstthen what ever vegies you like....for example*potato*pumpkin*sweet potato*onion*carrot*brussel sprouts*cauliflower*zuccinni*broccolli*asparaguswhatever you have....we have done it with 16 vegies once....todays pie had 12 vegiesso you layer up these vegis put these items below in a food processor or barmix and mix into a combined even liquid....1T saltpepper to taste2T honey2t curry powder1 -2 cloves of garlic1 small chuck of gingerstock cube/vegie1/4 cup waterpour this over the pie...top with pastry and cook at 180'/190' for one hourwhen you serve it you ..cut a piece and plate it up...then top with grated cheese and some yummy gravy....delish...this is a wonderfully hearty winter meal folks....just had to share
