ive been flatout ,busy with lil ones

ive been hitting the sack early of late...

so theres not a lot of scrapping going on during the week.

but im not stressing,ive put an importance

on family a bit more this year.

last year became a frenzy of scrappin

this year im trying to create more of a balance .

it seems to be working well

i was lucky enough to have a sleep over scrap night at pams last night...

i was stoked to share the evening with loz,virginia ,pam,kylie and jo.

im off this evening for a scrap at Pams...

to catch up with some forum friends

meeting virginia for the first time I.R.L

so i thought i'd get this one up early and get myself moving

i have a shoot to do in an hour for an hour and then im off...

my little creative industrious Two have been busy...trying to raise money for there friends birthday pressie...a ds game

so this morning they set up the shop out the front and started to bead ..

so creative ..ahh a chip of the old block i'd say.

multi talented ,,she 's bound to bring in the costumers

but she had a sad accident with a car .

the start to another fabulous weekend...,

hopefully i will catch up with Virginia from the SM forum

and i've a family shoot tomorrow afternoon to do

and on sunday our american frriends

Greg and Jeanette,Kiani and Koby are coming to visit.

im so excited ...

paul is home ,and the girls missed him a bunch .

that first embrace is a wonderful thing.

day 221

thursday february 21 is nearly gone...the kids are at mum's tonight .

poppy is taking them to school tomorrow .

i start work at 7.45 so nan and pop come to te aid.

Pauls still on the Gold Coast

he participated in his event ,and scored a 3rd place :) :) :)

Im so proud of him,he is so great at his chosen sport of skateboarding.

but its just so much more than just rolling around,

he is an old school skater,ramps ,bowls,any skate park,

downhill,a little street ~but he values his joints to much~

off road~those boards are huge ~ and now slalom skating.

he has only been competing for the last 2 years and

99.9% of the time he scores a top 3 placing .not bad for a 45 year old

so yet again he scores a trophy ,

and some sponsors where sniffing around,

he will be charged when he gets home ..

after a long work day the kids and i slippped out for our thursday
night ritual meal.

evy has the falafel,asti the chicken,

and i have a mixed kebab.

i dont cook on thurday night !!!!!what about you???

DAY 220

of the 365 day self portrait challenge .

its been a quite dayt ,a short work shift

and a little mucking around this afternoon with the kids.

attention ;no homework done today!!!

im not impressed at all,

after much selling of the virtues of home study,

blue water high won out ,

lucky i made them do double yesterday...

this small card is for LADY BASTARD

while i was blog surfing ,as you do ,

i came across her site that was having a call out for business style cards .

this slapped together piece is winging its way to ITALY...

i do hope this is ok ROBERTA..

paul is competing tomorrow at the gold coast convetion centre,if your around that way ,you should check it out...he is at the board sports /beach expo..racing starts early,but he will be around there all day...

yep ive been playing with some colour saturation..it's fun.

MY man is in Qld,he is competing in another national slalom.

i wish him all the best and i hope he is fastest on the track..

no pages today,but miss lanae recieved my mail art,

and she is super stoked

these are my friends wedding invitations ,

40 of them all done and ready to post.

my inspiration behind them is the charkra colours ,

that are such a part of Lanaes life

...and that the wedding is at dusk ...so sunset colours also

i wanted something very original,with a wow factor

not anal and restrained ,like a lot of the usual invitations..

thanks to all on SM for the encouragement to go for this arty style invo.
